One great thing about Facebook is keeping in touch with family and friends. I have a wonderful niece that I’ve watched grow up from afar. We only get to see each other on Thanksgiving that is if my brother’s family can get here. Looking at Xandi’s photos and reading her status shows me that she has an awesome relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Wow, sometimes her insight as a teenager is so remarkable, I forget she’s still in high school. I was surprised when she posted, “I love being a D.O.R.K.” When first of all I know she isn’t, so I figured it meant something special. She told me that I was a D.O.R.K. too. Well maybe not quite like that but she would have been right. I’m happy to report that I am a Daughter Of the Risen King, a D.O.R.K. I love having a Facebook relationship with Xandi, so I hope when I confess to her that I’m also a dork, she won’t think any less of me.
